And Valverde takes Stage 1. With no prologue this year and no times bonuses, Le Tour is starting it off a bit different. Though, Alejandro Valverde came out to show he is serious about his run for the Maillot Jaune. I know Garrett and myself were both super excited to see him come and take this stage. We shall see how he continues on through the month.
