The Dark Knight himself… the Devil’s servant… the founder of the Church of Satin. I remember being in my 20’s and curious as hell (no pun) about life and all of its mysteries. During my quest for answers I subjected myself to many books… one being the Black Bible written by Anton LaVey. I actually found the whole thing a little comical as the teachings were much more about indulging in life’s fleshy pleasures than burning in hell and such. It put the Christian propaganda machine in real perspective. For more info click here.

When ever I am out in the desert I am reminded of one of my all time favorite movies… maybe because it’s one of the only movies I have in my trailer. Once tipped into the aether through the process of intoxication, it becomes as an incredible source of entertainment… over and over and over and over again!

I was combing through Youtube last week checking out some of the San Diego bands that I use to go see in the early 90’s… one of the stand outs being my long time friend Mario Rubalcaba’sÂ bandÂ (drummer)Â Â Clikatat Ikatowi. This then led me to skimming through others in the Gravity Records line up… Antioch Arrow and Heroin. It’s a real flash back to a time of celebrated youth and heightened angst.
