Paul Newman
27 September 2008
Paul Newman was drawn to the track, he told reporters, because in racing, unlike acting, the definition of “good” is not a murky matter of opinion.

Although he began to race at 47, he was ranked among the sport’s top 25% of drivers, his team placing second in the prestigious Le Mans endurance contest in 1979. At 70, he became the oldest driver to place in a professionally sanctioned auto race when his team took third in the 24-hour race at Daytona, Fla.

Monza
14 September 2008
A year since our collaboration with Scuderia Ferrari and Puma, I cannot lie in saying I wish I was in Monza again this weekend. While my scarlet cars did not fair that well, I have to give full congrats to the Jr. Redbull team powered by Ferrari engines. Most of all Sebastian Vettel, the 21 year old pilot of the Scuderia Torro Roso Team who surprised all with pole on Saturday only to follow up with his first race victory in difficult conditions at Monza on Sunday.

2006
3 September 2008
While play has not been all that impressive in the last few months, (injuries, scheduling, bias, etc.) you must not forget this last World Cup. FIFA today presented the very first ‘FIFA World Champions Badge’ to reigning world champions Italy. The Squadra Azzurra are the first national team to receive this badge.
First is forever.

Patterns

“Kente” is a brilliantly colourful fabric, entirely hand-woven by Ghanaian weavers. The brilliant colours and intricate designs associated with Kente have definitely made this fabric the best known of all Ghanaian, and perhaps even all West African textiles.

Stunningly beautiful, unique and original…
